New Rules of TRAI gives the way, we watched the channel our own choice.We used to enjoy the television channels as per the earlier rules where no scope for the selection of channels by separating the audience.It was not easy for all the subscribers to understand the free to air channel list according to previous DTH & Cable Tv broadcasting rules.

It often shows that the viewers did not see the channels they had to pay. There was no any slap in the FTA channels and pay channels separately. As a result, the viewers had to pay extra money even without seeing their favorite channel.

What is the major changes has been implemented by TRAI ?

1. A maximum limit of price Rs.130/- for 100 free to air SD channel with a additional twenty five channels in capping @Rs. 20/-

2. Price of channel which has been fixed by Broadcaster and it has no any rights to decide by service providers.

3. Freedom of choice channels by the subscriber and this new rules will going to started from 1st February 2019.

TRAI Rules for DTH channel list

This New Rules of TRAI which has applied all Television distribution service like as Cable TV or DTH Platform.

A. Log in following this TRAI CHANNEL LIST ( https://channel.trai.gov.in/home.php )

B. Read CHANNEL SELECTOR APPLICATION ( https://channel.trai.gov.in/index.html )

C. Mention your name in ENTER YOUR NAME

D. Press Continue and then select your STATE

E. Select your language where HINDI or ENGLISH option available

F. Select your favourite GENRES which you interested to watching

G. Select CHANNEL TYPE which is mention HD and SD than Press OK

Now top of the MENU BAR where  Pay Channels & Free to Air Channels list have shown. You can select channels from the list of Pay Channels & Free to Air channels.

You can select type of the channels as per your choice from GENRE OF CHANNELS

Than PRICE have mentions in three category like Below Rs.5/-,Below Rs.10/-,Below Rs.20/-

After your channel selection process complete, click the VIEW SELECTION option which is right side on the MENU BAR. You may also choose OPTIMIZE option for reduce cost wherever possible.

You can download the list for take a printout of your selected channels.

Your channels selection can also change every month if you interested to do it. TRAI app will help you for make a estimated price.
